Kenya

Jambo

Been quite a few years now that we visited Kenya. Probably a lot has changed meanwhile, but anyhow
I've decided to put on a few pictures as well from this country and it's wildlife.
Like quite some visitors, we enjoyed relaxing at one of Mombasa's northern beaches.

A visit to Kenya wouldn't be complete without a safari. We had opted for a three days tour
leading through Tsavo East and West and the famous Amboseli Ntl. Park.
Most people might think that this is a relaxing story (as we did as well) but this is
underestimating such trips. Nevertheless you will be able to see most of the exciting natural
beauty the country offers.

After a first encounter with the local wildlife in Tsavo East, we continued our way towards
Taita Hills where the group was supposed to stay for the night.

The other day of our trip started with an early morning departure into Tsavo West, the
biggest National Park of Kenya.

Afterwards, the journey continued to Amboseli National Park. In good weather conditions, Mount
Kilimandscharo offers beautiful views, but unfortunately this wasn't the case during these days.

This was a completely different landscape with quite some water as well. The place being much
smaller, it made life easier to see the abundant wildlife. The whole safari, even being not really
relaxing was an unforgettable experience. After Amboseli we headed back to the coast enjoying
the rest of the trip.
